HER2 immunohistochemistry in a colorectal adenocarcinoma. This tumor showed a 2 + score (moderate circumferential, lateral, or basolateral staining) in 30% of neoplastic cells. According to the “CAP/ASCP/ASCO gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma HER2 guideline”, it should be classified as “equivocal” and sent to in situ hybridization testing for assessment of HER2 amplification status. According to the “Heracles Diagnostic Criteria”, it should be classified as negative, with no further action taken. Original magnification 200x
